Biography
Nasim Mirzaei was born in the north of Iran in 1980.Her fondest childhood memories took place in her home’s ancient garden among orange trees and pear blossoms.
At the age of three she moved to Tehran and its chaos. She says;”My memories of school begin with the bell for art class. I’ll never forget my first teacher who preferred I sketched the vase of Narges flowers on her desk rather than take an examination.
I sat at her desk with such enthusiasm and drew the flowers.This is how painting become my daily obsession until now.Today when I am trying to capture the nostalgia of a city that is fading as fast as my memories which are quickly becoming a mirage of textures ,colors and history”.
